Hello "Macomb Less,"

Somehow I missed your comment almost two years ago. Hope you've found some fun/impactful ways to gather people around peace.  We've held "Networking for Peace and Nonviolence" gatherings in Chicago, which led to partnering with other organizations on educational events/trainings and also tabling at each others' events.  Here's the link to the events page on the Illinois site for flyers and more information:  http://www.dopcampaign-il.org/events.html

Hello all! I am "downstate" in Western Illinois - in Macomb, if anyone is familiar with it! I'd love to hear of any activities/events/workshops that other individuals and groups have offered that have been successful. Our local peace and social justice group, the Macomb Area Alliance for Peace and Justice, are always looking for new ways of approaching peacebuilding!

It's so great to see everyone from Illinois joining the group! Not surprised, though, given what a creative, passionate and active group of folks are in Illinois. Yay Illinois! :)
