My computer was down from 3-1-11 until now. I've temporarily rented a computer for a special project, for Nov. and, if I can afford it, Dec. I'm on extended unemployment and on a really tight budget, but I still want to work for peace. Could I please get a phone number, maybe John Spence's, so I will be able to be in touch by telephone? My phone number is 703-239-2125, and I'm in the 11th district (Burke Centre, VA).

Also, I would like to hear about the Pie.

    Thanks very much,

                     Pat

We have a meeting set with Senator Warners office May 7, at 1 PM to deliver a Pie and talk about the peace Alliance. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Passing of the Health Care Reform Act today was a great step for peace within our families. Just think about how much less people will have to worry about their lives, knowing that their insurance won't be dropped because they are ill, or knowing that they will be able to get insurance even though they have a pre-existing condition.
Today we had the great pleasure of being on a conference call with President Obama. He encouraged all of the people working on causes of principal to keep up the hard work as eventually the Nation comes around. Perseverance is a key to success.
I think that this is a great step in the direction of reform which will eventually include a US Department of Peace. If you are working towards that goal, please keep up the good work. If you are thinking about helping, let today’s momentous achievement inspire you to act in a positive way for the welfare of all mankind

Happy new year everyone. How many of your Christmas cards had "Peace"
as part of the Christmas wish? This year I plan to be more active in working for that goal.
