What first attracted you to peace activism?
My senior year in high school, my Politics class decided to raise money for the IOM and help free child slaves in Ghana. I ended up getting very involved and became the head organizer, and the campaign was a huge success. About 40 high school students raised about $23,000, of which I alone raised about $12,000. Since then, I have become heavily involved in STAND, the Student-Led Division of the Genocide Intervention Network, starting a chapter at The College of New Jersey and working closely with regional and national coordinators. I have also recently joined The Peace Alliance and the Student Peace Alliance.
