Please read the article and visit the website linked (http://noescalation.org/)-which lists all partners against escalating the wars as well as phone numbers necessary for contacting your congressperson. We must stop this insanity. Not to act is immoral.http://www.truthout.org/1024094I am not confident in my web-sharing abilities or I would have posted this as a widget. The first annual Pause for Peace is scheduled for June 21, 2010. The beauty of this is that it can be accomplished anywhere, in any way you choose. It’s just a few minutes of happy thoughts, joyful deliberation and peaceful reflection. Our theory is that we can cause an energy shift with enough participation. It will be a Global Pause with SO MUCH combined positive energy that we will literally be able to see and feel a change, for the better, in the World! Plan your own event or just stop what…See More
This is one of the latest "Brave New Films" independent film maker-documentary that is being circulated on college campuses and in independent theaters/art shows and is a must see for anyone who is sitting on the fence about whether or not we should be sending more troops into Afghanistan. It is heart-wrenching, the statistics are mind-boggling, yet the corporate media will not allow this truth to be known. Iraq Veterans Against the War are promoting this film- I was fortunate to speak with a…See More
Thanks for the response and the link with more information. It is so hard to stay hopeful when you keep seeing the pattern repeating - reward the criminals, the bad guys; repress and kill off the least of our humanity. I have to disappoint you now--I am not THAT Kristen Day (sorry!) I am from Connecticut, and Day is my ex-husband's last name, which I keep for the sake of my 2 kids (who are both much older now, but I never went back to my maiden name-Morosky)..SO, there you have it. I've been told I have a nice smile, but I am pretty shy and very camera shy. My daughter, on the other hand, is a ham and quite photogenic. you can see her artwork on deviantart (cheesestorm).
Much love and peace to you and yours :)
First of all, thank you for your message. Second this is an answer to my question : Does smoeone really care? Since 1994, we have no rest. People got killed, other continue to desappear. Instead of punishing criminals, they are treated as men and women of peace. May be you will know much about me if you want to. But my life is not som uch interesting. it's just one case among millions of Rwandans' suffering. What I am trying to do is to call on/question everybody's moral conscience. There are indeed people LIKE YOU who really care. Third, Your smile gives me hope.(http://socialecology.uci.edu/faculty/kday/) and for this thank you so much. I do have only one wish: To see Justice, Equality and democratic values getting back to Rwanda. To achieve this golden mission depends on all of us. I tried to Tell the Truth about the Rwandan tragedy. Instead of listening to me, Criminals get Academic awards and instead of being brought to the bar of Justice, they are invited and wolk down with the free World leadership.
