New Mexico - Potluck and Talk by a Muslim friend from ABQ, NM at Jemez Spring Community Presbyterian Church

December 4, 2009 from 6pm to 8pm
Abdul Rauf Campos-Marquetti of the Islamic Ctr in NM, in ABQ, NM, will talk to us about his faith and the incident at the Ft. Hood, TX Army base. He has gone with Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb to Israel on a Peacemaking Pilgrimage and has been doing peacework ever since. He is an engineer and is very articulate as a speaker. He is one who lives the way of peacemaking and is a beautiful witness to the peace tradition of Islam.
