- What first attracted you to peace activism?
- I was first introduced to peace activism and to the Department of Peace movement by Rob Atkinson. He showed me how much impact grassroots lobbying can have on our government and society. I have remained in this movement because a US Department of Peace and Nonviolence represents an important paradigm shift: that we can mediate conflict and violence in peaceful ways that are beneficial to all.

I ordered a world peace flag and it already came. It goes up in my garden on the 4th of July with a ritual for world peace. I'll post the picture.
