Bright Side Opportunities Center, in collaboration with Lancaster Interchurch Peace Witness and Lancaster Literary Guild, is bringing to Lancaster Pulitzer Prize-winning author Taylor Branch. He will speak at Bright Side Baptist Church, 515 Hershey Ave., Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29.

As I was watching the fireworks last night, my thoughts turned to the music played by marching bands on Independence Day. What kind of music will the bands be playing if we had a Department of Peace?
