I was browsing Google for news on "violence" today (something I have not done in quite some time) and came across this post from Robert Listenbee Jr., of the Defender Association of Philadphia. THE PROBLEM1

How many individuals move, with his health, time, work, that cruel capitalist economy, enriching who does not see them, abandoned to the own luck, dying without helps, evolution, development, and if choose the violence, are exterminated. As wake up the powerful? As it enlarge the small? The dialogue does the light enter the minds and the evil, the error, the bad feeling, the ignorance, disappear and exceeds the vision, the knowledge, the information, the consistent peace.

However, there are some countries that lifted people out of poverty.   One of the examples is Brazil.  Brazil’s economy, with large and well-developed agricultural, mining, manufacturing, and service sectors, has been growing and expanding globally (Central Intelligence Agency, 2011).   There were about 12 million…

Our cities need and deserve ceasefire and non-violence, just as do settings of armed conflict. Help put into…

Worldwide Child Soldiers Issue

Worldwide Child Soldiers Issue

The recruitment and use of children under 15 years old as soldiers is a war crime while the participation of children under 18 years old in armed conflict is prohibited under international law.  Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of children are recruited in government forces or armed rebel groups.  Most of them are between 13 and 18 years of age (Amnesty International, 2011).  Some are as young as 8 years of age (Human Rights Watch,…
