Peace Day 2010 Broadcast
Building on the success of the first ever “Peace Day Global Broadcast” in 2009, viewed by millions of people around the world, we are happy to announce the 2010 "Peace Day Global Broadcast ~ Building Peace Through Sustainability".
The Peace Day Global Broadcast is an interactive event for sharing sustainable solutions and peace-building partners. The event will feature live feeds from celebrations worldwide starting Peace Day weekend, September 17th, through September 21st, the official United Nations International Day of Peace.
We will honor organizations and individuals working to achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals, promote peace, human rights and sustainable development with Pillar Of Peace Awards. Broadcast segments mix celebrity entertainment, with solutions, and specials featuring Peace-building partners.
The annual Peace Day Global Broadcast is brought to you by Pathways To Peace, Unity Foundation, Culture of Peace Initiative, ShockRa Entertainment, and Peace Portal.
