SurViVors Human Rights Advocates strongly condemn the UNHCR decision to forcibly repatriate Hutu refugees to Rwanda from most of African countries.
SurViVors Human Rights Advocates would like to acknowledge and express their concerns to the UNHCR High Commissioner and his staff members for their tireless efforts to forcibly rapatriate Rwandan Hutu refugees in violation to the Humanitarian law and the Genenva conventions relating to the status of refugees.
"Everybody has the right to request asylum and to be informed of their rights". The UNHCR must stop every attempt to unload its responsibilities and international obligations on Hutu refugees.
