"And it really is an interesting idea, intriguing to say the least." (As summarized by the news caster.)
For those of us who have been holding this idea of a Dept. of Peace, it is good to be reminded that it is still a new and intriguing idea to so many. Great job in in spreading the word and awakening the west coast to the possibility.

I don't have any other way of expressing my suffering. I try to do it using my blog, a blog I share with many of Rwandan survivors. I still believe the Truth will come out. Following the innumerable war crimes and crimes against humanity that Paul Kagame and his RPF have committed against Rwandan and congolese people, Yet, sadly, through their silence or obfuscations, some individuals at the Pentagon and some US citizens and media continue to cover up and furnish the camouflage to help Paul kagame perpetuating all kind of awful crimes inside and outside Rwanda. My duty is and remain to speak out and may be with your help, Peace can take place in Rwanda.

Wonderful. I am pleased that the news people did not do a negative spin on the idea. That is promising.

Soon reporters will be less surprised and more enthused about DOP. This is a significant step in that direction. Thanks for putting yourself in front of the camera, David. You are awesome as State coordinator.

Don't worry our military will spread peace and keep us safe by putting more military satellites into orbit.

I'll only feel safe when I have huge, radioactive arsenal above my head that can strike anywhere on the globe within 60 mins. of a given order that can rain down tungsten rods at Mach 17 and lazer beams, as fast as light, that can burn deep, gaping holes in anything it hits. By completely terrifying the world, then we'll finally end terrorism.

I hope the DoP can counter our insane DoD.

"But America has rejected the desire by 160 other countries to have United Nations talks about banning an arms race in space, an extravagantly unilateral approach whose appeal you might have thought would have been tarnished by its experience in Iraq."
