Student Peace Alliance National Field Organizer Positions Available

The role of the Student Peace Alliance National Field Organizer is to support the Student Peace Alliance grassroots network. National Field Organizers (NFO) are expected to:
Support 10-15 SPA chapters with organizing, recruitment, fundraising, event planning, media relations, political advocacy, and community service as it relates to peacebuilding.
Develop strong relationships with the chapters
Track the events, actions, media and other efforts of the chapters
Participate in National Organizing Team conference calls twice a month
Participate in any National All-Calls with members of the grassroots
Be in regular contact with the National Field Director
We are looking for individuals with organizing experience. This organizing experience does not need to be with Student Peace Alliance but knowledge of our organization is important.

Hello, I am interested in starting several Student Peace Alliances here in the Hartford, CT area. However, I would not say I am a field organizer, just have access to great youth from several schools. I will be discussing it tomorrow at a meeting but would like to have more information on where to go from there. Thank You.
