Non-Violent Communications (NVC)

Greetings all! The Kalamazoo MI, District 6, DoP group has a NVC team that formed over a year ago.  We meet monthly and have studied the NVC book by Rosenburg.  We are now stretching our NVC knowledge through outreach to our community.  It would be valuable to connect with others who are studying and applying NVC.   Is there another DoP NVC team in Michigan? Bobbi JoSee More

A Charter for Compassion

November 12th is the unveiling of the the Charter for Compassion. Karen Armstrong received the 2008 TED award for this idea. It is to be a trans-faith, national, language effort. I suggest that this concept will help to expand non-violent communications with a change in expression and rheteric from key entities in our society including religious organizations and hopefully government and media. Am I dreaming?…See More

"NINGing is great. It is long past my bed time, but I'm busy listening, viewing, reading and writing at DoPeace. Now the DoP district teams need to figure out how to use DoPeace's offerings to energize their less active members."
