- What first attracted you to peace activism?
- Initially, it was my religious and cultural heritage. My parents are Palestinian Christian and I wanted to be part of peacebuilding and peacemaking between Palestinians and Israelis. Then, I discovered violence prevention through the Student Peace Alliance and that broadened my definition of being active for peace in my community and nation.
