How's your activism going? following on Ted Nunn's comment....

Networks like FB allow one to click on "Like" or make a comment, but it really doesn't do anything to further one's activism. The word activism is about "Taking action". We've come a long way from the days of marching in the streets about Vietnam and Civil Rights...we just click a button that suggests we're righteously indignant about something...and don't do much about it. CHALK4PEACE 2009 Draw Your Own Conclusions...

CHALK4PEACE happens again this September for the fourth time worldwide.
We are expecting locations in 30 countries, some 350-500 sites, in schools,
museums, libraries, plazas and neighborhoods that will bring the spirit of
peace simultaneously to the planet throughout the month of September.
This event used enough sidewalk chalk last year to cover eight football fields.
