On August 2, during Living History eevents in our town (Hillsboro) I entered a contest for town criers. My 'cry' referenced the Constitutuinal Convention, and the fact that, among other deliberations, the convention was considering establishing a Department of Peace, and also there was a quote from George Washington favoring DoP. My current involvement is to go to various events where I think people might be interested in DoP, and hand out a brief flier, and ask if people would like to be on the campaign email list, then pass that information on to our state coordinator.
