- What first attracted you to peace activism?
- I am an actor and have always been fascinated by the relationship between conflict and empathy. I believe that both these elements are at the centre of conflict resolution and drama. For me acting is a form of activism: of creating social change by telling a story that is emotionally engaging and thought-provoking. I have been particularly inspired by Augusto Boal's work with Theatre of the Oppressed and forum Theatre; Dominic Barter's work with Restorative Circles in Brazil and David Williamson's plays on community conferencing based on Transformative Justice movement in Australia.
