- What first attracted you to peace activism?
- I grew up in a strange home, where my mother taught us to be kind and loving towards our mentally ill father who could be violent. We were taught a lot about current affairs and the suffering of people in a variety of situations. I wanted to do something to help and when friends in high school were active in peace work, I learned about what they had to say and decided to work for peace.
