NH closer to a YPA State Resolution

NH_ The Children and Family Law Executive Committee voted to support the Youth PROMISE Act House Resolution [H.C.R.24], 16 to 1. The Chairwoman cited the "compelling testimony of last week" and with no further discussion, the Resolution was recommended to be brought before the State House of Representatives. It will appear on the Consent List for recommended passage (barring any last moment opposition), within the next two weeks. This has been a great exercise in bottom-up civic activism.  We…See More

NH State YPA Resolution Hearing (H.C.R.24)! at NH State House LOB 206

January 26, 2010 from 10am to 11am
There is currently a Resolution in the NH State Legislature, H.C.R. 24, in support of the Youth POMISE Act, co-sponsored by Rep. Shannon Chandley, Amherst and Rep. Melanie Levesque, Brookline. While the Youth PROMISE Act enjoys endorsements from a broad range of law enforcement organizations, local jurisdictions, elected officials, state and national organizations, if H.C.R. 24 is passed, New Hampshire would be the first state in the nation to formally voice support for this important federal…See More

Historical 'Town Cry' in New Hampshire Cries out for Peace, wins championship!

There are many creative ways to Cry out for Peace, to stir and awaken those who may be thirsty to listen. Our NH member, Mike Bradley, recently won a Town Cry-er Championship at a Living History event in his hometown. He quoted George Washington himself referencing an "office or Department of Peace." ! Read the Cry below...

Dennis prefers to keep representing Cleveland, regardless of what district he is in (current 10th or something new). He realizes, though, that the downstate Republicans may get their way and squeeze him into and ultra-rightist district. He has strong connection here in Washington state, and Jay Inslee, our 1st-district congressional rep is runnig for governor this trip out, so that position will be fresh for a strong progressive. This wouldn't be the first time Dennis has moved states. When he lost mayoral re-election years ago, thanks to the corporations, he move to California for several years and got totally out of politics, until the people of Cleveland realized what he had accomplished for them in two years as mayor and called him home. We'll see what happens. Meanwhile, he is leading a strong bi-partisan peace effort in Congress.

I have just returned from hospital.I am working in the field of PEACE for last more than two decades. But slow realisation is coming to me that hardly anyone is prepare to adopt PEACE POWER. Almost every one is for VIOLENT POWER not knowing that only PEACE POWER can conquer every thing in life and the world. For this my two books 1)Peace Technology2) Peace TimeCalendar are unwanted. That is why I want to sell the copyright of my two books. The life and world is miserable today because most of us depend on VIOLENT POWER.All these social networkings are virtual as PEACE POWER has not given its due position.
I think in this life I will not be able to influence the humanity to adopt PEACE POWER as a tool of growth and development.I propose to retire.

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement regarding my blog. It has been such a powerful experience for me to take on this experiment with peace. At first coming up with a conscious decision for peace was a little challenging, but now I realize there are so many ways each day that I can make a choice for peace and it is challenging to choose just one of them to blog about. Thanks again for taking the time to read it, I hope it will continue to be a blessing for you. http://peaceisachoice.tumblr.com/

Thank you for the welcome, and your memory is superb! I was asked to leave the Cathedral but am still involved with several community groups where the web can be expanded. I appreciate the ability to use today's science (the internet) in noble ways. At the foundation of living, it is by example that we can influence in the most peaceful of ways. But every other grain of rice added to the bowl serves to feed more!

Your reference to Bhagavat Gita is the greatness you have inbuilt in your consciousness. If the entire Gita is understood and implemented,DoPeace will become part of life. Basing on Gita , I advocate for convergence of :Science of Matter" with "Science of Spirituality" and making objective Peace as an integral component of Development to create a DoPeace- a violent-free peaceful, prosperous and truly sustainable world.
I request you to visit my site www.worldpeacetech.com in which monthly/bimonthly e-communicator-PEACE PATH FINDER is hosted. In the first page of the site, click at e-communicator which will take you to PEACE PATH FINDER hosted since Dec 2006. The latest one is for the month of "CONSCIOUSNESS"- the last month of 28 days 13 moon civil Peace Calendar which highlights the value of "CONSCIOUSNESS"(analysis from Gita) for DoPeace to reform the "I" and the world.
