Thank you Machia St. Rain. We sell original peace activism wear, a collection of peace merchandise that we have curated. We have an active peace blog on topics of the day and finally 90 second peace radio interstitials carried on radio throughout the Florida Keys.

yes indeed , it was very difficult time. many civilians were victimized . The Israeli soldiers incursed again into the Palestinian cities and there were clashes between Palestinian fighters and Israeli troops.

The Nativity church was curfewed and some Palestinian militant were inside it. A priest was shot dead. Israeli shoppers were bombarding some targets and shooting on people. I never forget these scenes which were awful and horrible. Our past experience proved that PEACE is the only path both nations should go to make a fair and just compromise.

Yes, I live in North Raleigh.  The Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy is the school that started the peacebuilding curriculum from the U.S. Institute of Peace. Other schools have been more resistant (even with offering them money).  I am hoping that the program will be so successful that other schools will want to start teaching it.  Until then, I want to start a Student Peace Alliance group (or groups).  I would love to find a team of helpers in the area!  Deb Pellegrini

Not heard of that but will check it out. My primary focus tends to be justice issues like fair sentencing, mass incarceration, restorative justice, etc. I work in the field and also will graduate from seminary in April. Have an interest in using my degree in jail or prison work but haven't figured it out yet.

Hello Machai,  It all started with a book by James O'Dea  " Cultivating Peace"  I was inspired to start discussion groups  and put up a blog to help others with questions and facilitating the groups.  Then I met Molly at the Shift Network and she got me interested in Restorative Justice.  I attended last nights webinar and learned about Do Peace from the interview.  I can see a tremendous need for this at all levels of society and I have some friends who are educators a couple people in the justice dept. and I didn't know what to do with myself after Occupy Muskegon.  Actually I am still helping with the Occupy movement here in Michigan.  I have not posted my profile since I had a bit of work to do today.  I may get to it later.  My mantra is Peace is the only thing that IS important and more and more I am realizing it is true in ways I never imagined.

How did you get here?
